In 1993 he returned to Italy and with his brother Raffaele Alajmo (in the room) he dedicated himself to the family restaurant, &#8220;Le Calandre&#8221; in Sarmeola di Rubano, which in 1996 obtained the second <strong>Michelin star<\/strong> (the first Michelin star was awarded to his mother, Rita Chimetto, in 1992).
