Moreno Cedroni

Moreno Cedroni was born in Ancona on 9 July 1964.
He is among the most innovative Italian chefs in international cuisine.
In the kitchen since 1990, when he was 26 years old, in 1996 he already had a Michelin star.
In 1984 he opened La Madonnina del Pescatore, a restaurant set in the splendid setting of the Marche region. In 1996, in fact, he was awarded the first Michelin star, in 1999 with the “Sole” by Veronelli and in 2000 with the three forks of the Gambero Rosso. The very high recognition of the second Michelin star for the Madonnina del Pescatore arrived in November 2006. For the mastery and technique in handling the raw material, for the creativity and ability to weave tradition and innovation in the kitchen, in October 2008 the Chef Cedroni is declared winner of the Swedish Kungsfenan Seafood Awards. In 2016 Moreno Cedroni hosts the program on Top Chef with Giuliano Baldessari, Mauro Colagreco and Annie Féolde. And in October 2016 the chef was awarded the Gentile da Fabriano Award in the Officine Marchigiane section. In October 2022 Cedroni, an extraordinary exponent of gourmet and innovative cuisine, was awarded for his restaurant, third in the world and first in Italy in TripAdvisor’s traveler’s choice 2022.
Also in October, Moreno Cedroni is chef of the year 2022. The patron of the Madonnina del pescatore, he is awarded at the Food and Travel Italia Awards, the Oscars of gastronomy and tourism. But October of that year was a succession of recognitions. Moreno, in fact, also receives the “Golden Truffle” award of the 59th National Exhibition of the Prized White Truffle of the Marche of Sant’Angelo in Vado. 2023 also begins with yet another recognition as, in January, Moreno Cedroni received the “Continuous Innovation” award from Identità Milano 2023. Over the course of his career, there have been numerous participations in gastronomic conferences of the caliber of Identità golose, Lo mejor de gastronomy, Gastronomika, Omnivore. There are also multiple collaborations and consultancies including those with Moschino, San Resort, Baglioni Hotels, Lavazza, San Pellegrino, Mc Cann. Inspiration, creativity, curiosity, experimentation. Thirty-nine years of history and stories, of hard work, but also of genius, new experiences, journeys ranging from the traditional to the unexplored to be told.
